Sentiment Analysis

I am getting a Neutral score for the following phrase:

"quick, efficient professional service .100% happy"

Which to me seems positive in all 3 parts. It appears that if I remove "quick" I then get a positive score. Why would "quick" be making the overall score neutral? Any ideas?

Re: Sentiment Analysis

The Analyze Sentiment API works best on longer pieces of text. If you want to use it with shorter pieces of text you can try setting the mode parameter to "recall" which should help. It returns positive sentiment for your example.

There is some more information at the bottom of the Analyze Sentiment page.

That being said we are investigating the cause of your issue as that is perculiar behaviour.

Re: Sentiment Analysis

Thank you for you reply, unfortunately the length of text can vary from comment to comment, sometimes very long. With reference to your comment:

"That being said we are investigating the cause of your issue as that is perculiar behaviour."

I look forward to hearing what you determine.

Thanks

Any joy investigating the cause of this behaviour?
